The Magnifier team has created an application as well as a mechanical device which allows the user to magnify text that may be difficult to read. This mechanical device will hold the computer tablet above the text while the application will allow for further magnification of the text. Currently, many visually impaired students struggle to read small fonts which are commonly found in textbooks as well as novels, and the current magnification technology that is available today is bulky and expensive. The Magnifier team hopes to solve this problem by developing these products and making it easier for the students at ISBVI to learn new material.
